Barbara graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine of Turin, Italy in July 2002. At the same Institution, she completed a four-years PhD programme in veterinary pharmacology, followed by a research fellowship until 2011. Then she moved in private practice in Italy and developed her passion and skills in anaesthesia. After four years, she moved to Dublin, Ireland where she completed a standard residency programme in veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia and a doctorate in veterinary medicine specialisation. In September 2018 she moved to UK where she worked as a locum lecturer at the Small Animal Teaching Hospital of the University of Liverpool, then joined NWVS in February 2019. Barbara aims to sit her boad examination in 2019. Her interests include anaesthesia at target-controlled infusions and treatment of chronic pain. Barbara loves to enjoy her free time traveling and taking pictures. Barbara has a cat called Alvaro.
