Prue Neath
Clinical Director / Soft Tissue Specialist
Prue qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 1993, underwent surgery specialist training at Uni of Penn, Philadelphia, and became a Diplomate of the American & European Colleges of Veterinary Surgery in 2000.
Prue has worked in a range of private referral centres over the last 20 years as a Specialist in Small Animal Surgery, including responsibility for leading teams at several businesses.
Prue’s main clinical focus has been soft tissue surgery, especially surgical oncology.
She has been a member of committees for RCVS Surgery Certificate and European Surgery Specialist (ECVS) exams, and greatly enjoys post-graduate teaching with extensive lectures & courses provided.
Her increasing interest in how to develop a positive workplace culture, and the beneficial effects for the patients as well as the team caring for them, has led her to the Clinical Director role leading the wonderful team at NWVS.
Prue has a dog called Lola who was found roaming the streets on New Year’s Eve 2018 – and has dominated their lives since then despite her small 5kg stature! She is tolerated by their sociable ginger cat Charlie & elegant tortoiseshell cat Cleo.
Prue loves dog walks over the hills and exploring food & culture of city-life.
