Nurse Team

The veterinary nurse teams at Northwest Veterinary Specialists are all fully qualified; some have entered the profession through a three year degree course or in-practice training and many have gone on to acquire further specialist nursing qualifications. We encourage and fund continuing professional development for all our nurses to enable them to offer the best possible care to your pet, with several colleagues currently working hard for exams.

Head of Nursing – Kathryn Humphreys RVN

Kathryn has worked with Northwest for a number of years, having trained as a nurse in practice, followed by a position in a local referral hospital. Kathryn’s role allows her to develop the nurse teams to their greatest potential in our quest to provide the very best care to your pets, 24 hours a day. As a member of the Senior Management Team Kathryn is integral to the smooth running of the hospital and future direction of Northwest Veterinary Specialists.
