Registered Veterinary Nurse

Opportunity for an RVN to work and develop in a supportive multidisciplinary referral hospital

Due to an increased case load we are looking to recruit experienced Registered Veterinary Nurses to join our friendly hospital  team on a permanent fulltime basis.  Our brilliant team of talented nurses work closely with our specialists, residents and interns  in our mission to deliver the best small animal referral care in the North West.

Our nurses work in discipline specific teams including theatre, internal medicine and inpatient care as well as rotating multi-disciplinary team, allowing nurses to focus on developing a high level of clinical skill in their chosen area.

We are a true multidisciplinary referral only hospital with departments in orthopaedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, neurology, internal medicine, oncology, anaesthesia and diagnostic imaging. Each of the clinical disciplines is staffed to European Diplomate or RCVS Specialist standards. The hospital is well equipped and provides excellent inpatient facilities with qualified RVNs and veterinary interns on-site 24/7. Imaging includes computed radiography, fluoroscopy (with digital subtraction and road-mapping), ultrasonography and on-site MRI and CT.

Potential candidates will be passionate about the care they deliver and have a real enthusiasm for learning. Referral experience is desirable although not necessary as the training and development of our people is important to us.

As a market leader in small animal referral care we offer a supportive and friendly working environment together with plenty of career development opportunities and an excellent package and benefits that includes;

  • Competitive salary
  • Competitive holiday allowance; including birthday leave
  • Professional memberships paid
