Anaesthesia and Analgesia Service Facilities

Canine Internal Medicine Facilities

  • Dogs will be housed in one of five wards, three routine wards for medical and surgical patients, a high dependency unit for patients with more severe illnesses or an isolation facility if suffering form an infectious disease.  We have a variety of kennel sizes, varying form walk in kennels for larger breeds to smaller kennels so that little dogs can feel safe and secure.
  • Outdoor run facilities to exercise dogs for toileting purposes, as well as bathing facilities should these be required.

Feline Internal Medicine Facilities

  • Separate ward for cats with calming diffusers: this ensures a peaceful environment where they can relax to cat friendly music, whilst watching the lava lamps
  • Calming diffuser blankets available for cat carriers to ensure cats feel safe and secure before appointment
  • The kennels have partitioned toileting areas for privacy and hiding and perching facilities are provided
  • Separate treatment room with cat appropriate equipment: e.g. small weighing scales, quiet clippers, small volume blood tubes, direct and indirect blood pressure monitoring, continuous blood glucose monitoring
  • Specialist nurses trained for handling and caring for cats, to ensure they are relaxed.

Interventional Radiology Facilities

  • Digital radiography, fluoroscopy and ultrasonography
  • Wide range of endoscopes to access the respiratory, gastrointestinal and urinary systems

Neurology Service Facilities

Orthopaedic Service Facilities
