Anaesthesia and Analgesia Service Facilities

Canine Internal Medicine Facilities
- Dogs will be housed in one of five wards, three routine wards for medical and surgical patients, a high dependency unit for patients with more severe illnesses or an isolation facility if suffering form an infectious disease. We have a variety of kennel sizes, varying form walk in kennels for larger breeds to smaller kennels so that little dogs can feel safe and secure.
- Outdoor run facilities to exercise dogs for toileting purposes, as well as bathing facilities should these be required.
- Comprehensive in-house laboratory for quick results around the clock
- Specialised systems for administration of fluids and medications used in human hospitals

Diagnostic Imaging Services Facilities

Feline Internal Medicine Facilities
- Separate ward for cats with calming diffusers: this ensures a peaceful environment where they can relax to cat friendly music, whilst watching the lava lamps
- Calming diffuser blankets available for cat carriers to ensure cats feel safe and secure before appointment
- The kennels have partitioned toileting areas for privacy and hiding and perching facilities are provided
- Separate treatment room with cat appropriate equipment: e.g. small weighing scales, quiet clippers, small volume blood tubes, direct and indirect blood pressure monitoring, continuous blood glucose monitoring
- Specialist nurses trained for handling and caring for cats, to ensure they are relaxed.
Interventional Radiology Facilities
- Digital radiography, fluoroscopy and ultrasonography
- Wide range of endoscopes to access the respiratory, gastrointestinal and urinary systems
- Advancing imaging including CT and MRI scanners
- C- arm Cios Connect - fluoroscopy (video X-ray) allows real time visualisation of the procedure and is used for the majority of interventional radiology cases

Neurology Service Facilities

- Zeiss neurosurgical microscope offers the quality and reliability needed to perform outstanding neurosurgery in small animals.

- Separate 24 hour staffed high dependency unit with oxygen cage

Orthopaedic Service Facilities

- Non-slip floors ensure a confident footing for pets that might be unsteady or weak on their legs
