Job Title: Client Services Administrator – part time
Location: Northwest Veterinary Specialists – Sutton Weaver, Cheshire
Reports to: Client Services Team Leader
Hours: 24 hours per week
Job Purpose
Northwest Veterinary Specialists is a multi-discipline veterinary hospital with an opportunity for someone to join the Finance team. This exciting new role will work across all areas of the finance team to meet the challenges within each area, including credit control and debt management, claims administration and providing essential cover within team, initially on a 12-month fixed term contract basis.
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, used to working under pressure effectively with a high attention to detail, and in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone to make an important contribution to the effective delivery of finance and administration functions.
Duties/Responsibilities
Credit Control:
- Responsible for managing the debt at NWVS, ensuring any unpaid claims, shortfalls, failed payment plans or failure to pay clients’ accounts are fulfilled.
- Aged debt reporting, including breakdown between insured and private clients
- Maintain and update the Debtors trackers and PMS, to resolve any queries
- Liaising with approved debt collection agencies, when required
- Taking card payment from clients and issuing refunds, over the telephone.
Claims Administration:
- Processing and submitting all insurance claims forms, via online portal, E-claims or paper claims to Insurance companies and resolving Insurance companies and client queries
- Updating Insurance tracker with information regarding the claim
- Liaising with Veterinary surgeons to ensure that all reports, results are available at the time of processing the claims
Accounts Payable:
- Checking/approving supplier invoices against purchase order log, seeking authorisation required
- Dealing with and resolving central team or supplier account queries
Hours and how to apply
24 hours per week – across Monday – Friday – full shift pattern to be discussed.
Salary: between £21,000 - £22,000 per annum pro rata - depending on experience
