Tier 1
These pets are referred to us not only for diabetes management but also for other comorbidities.
Services may include diagnostic imaging, surgery, or biopsy collection to address additional conditions that may affect diabetic management.
Tier 2
These pets are referred exclusively for diabetes management (diet, insulin type and dose, exercise regime, etc.).
Blood work may be performed during the initial consultation and follow-ups, based on history and physical examination.
Tier 3
Pets remain under the care of their primary veterinarian, with our support provided via phone or email to the vet.

Requirement for pre-operative blood tests are at our discretion and based on clinical judgement and are included in these packages. If there is co-existent disease, additional tests/medications may be required and will be subject to additional costs.
Concurrent Conditions
All Fixed Price Packages include the surgery required to treat a single, commonly diagnosed clinical condition. Should the clinical condition be more complex, or should the patient have medical comorbidities (e.g., diabetes, heart disease, hypothyroidism, etc) a supplemental charge may be applied.
Advanced Imaging
Should a CT be required in addition to Magnetic resonance imaging this would be priced in addition to the package price
Terms and Conditions
Post-op pain relief will be prescribed for up to 14 days. Any further prescriptions from NWVS will be payable.
Hospitalisation for longer than 72 hours post-operative will be payable at our standard fees.
Should the patient be considered high-risk for anaesthesia or require critical care, additional fees will be payable. Complications can happen with any surgical procedure, and any treatment outside of the package price is chargeable and will be fully discussed with you should this become necessary.

Bilateral Tibial Plateau Levelling Osteotomy (TPLO) - all weights

All TPLO cases will be accepted immediately and will be seen via a consultation within 48 hours of referral, unless we encounter unforeseen circumstances, in which case the earliest appointment will be offered.
Arthroscopy - Unilateral and Bilateral

Grade I Fracture - Unilateral Simple low risk fracture such as mid diaphyseal 2-piece fracture, physeal fracture/slip, tibial tuberosity avulsion.
