Perrine joined the team at Northwest Veterinary Specialists in January 2017. She has a particular interest in cardiovascular physiology, pain management and workflow management strategies. Perrine previously worked in busy specialist referral centres as Head of Anaesthesia, where she provided anaesthesia, critical care, and optimised workflow efficiency. She also rana pain management and acupuncture clinic.
Having graduated from the University of Liège in Belgium in 2007, Perrine completed a small animal general internship at the University of Nantes in France, and a small animal anaesthesia internship at the University of Liverpool.
Following this, Perrine undertook a three-year residency in anaesthesia and analgesia, and a Masters in Veterinary Sciences at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Canada, completing both in 2013. She gained her European Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia in 2014 and her RCVS Specialist status in 2015. Her career has also involved anaesthetising large animals such as lions, wolves, bears and even giraffes.
