Rebecca Jackman

Physiotherapist

BSc Sports Rehabilitation, Msc Sports Physiotherapy, PGDip Veterinary Physiotherapy, ACPAT Cat A, RAMP member, BVRSMA, MCSP, HCPC

Rebecca completed her BSc in Physiotherapy in 1999 at the University of Salford, followed by a MSc in Sports Physiotherapy at the University of Bath in 2010, and more recently a post-graduate Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy at the University of Liverpool in 2017.

Prior to becoming a veterinary physiotherapist, Rebecca’s background was in professional sports and human physiotherapy. She joined NWVS in 2019 and really enjoys the satisfaction of early post-surgical neuro dog cases, helping them get back to independent living and supporting the owners through that experience.

She also enjoys the challenge of rehabilitating high-performance working dogs, post injury to get them back to the full function they need to be able to perform the tasks they need to for their ‘job’.

When not working, Rebecca is kept busy with her young family plus her two dogs and cat. She’s also an active sportswoman, and likes to spend time running, walking, swimming, biking, horse riding and camping.
